God tells us through His word ... "And it shall come to pass in the last days that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh: Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" (Acts 2:17).

Full Truth Ministries Visionaries have a desire to do the "Will of God." We strongly believe that you should train your children by the Word of God and when they become older, they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).

Here at F.T.M. our Visionaries receive a tremendous amount of training from the Bible to apply to their daily lives. F.T.M. has an excellent teaching staff along with a creative activity leader.

Our Visionaries also enjoy many fun filled activities to assist them in their development. We understand how important it is to minister to the needs of children both spiritually and naturally, therefore we also organize outside activities with family and friends. By offering both spiritual and natural help we believe we are providing a well rounded service to our children which will build their character and faith in God.

Youth Sunday December 2009
Youth Sunday
Lead by Full Truth Ministries Youth Department

Today was a day of celebration of our Youth and they were up front and gifted! The theme for this Sunday was "Being Blessed and Blessing Others".
It's always a good thing to encourage and showcase the gifts and talents of our youth while also showing them how to honor God in all they do.

Today we were able to listen to a beautiful musical duet by Dominique and Cameron on guitar. Two lovely sisters who are learning to live for God everyday.

We also had a song from the Visionary Department along with a solo by little Trinity. These little ones are truly a blessing from God.

Darrien read Proverbs 19:17 - Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.

Joshua expounded on the story of Ruth and Naomi and concluded that we to not be selfish but share our lives with others and we will be blessed as well.

The next Scripture read was Luke 6:38 - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Velonte spoke on this Scripture and likened Gods blessings to packing a suitcase to overflowing. When you try to close it, it everything spills out. No matter how much you try to repack, refold, and stuff the suitcase it will not completely close. You have everything God has given you but it's really so much that it will not fit into the suitcase. That's how much God wants to bless His people.

Omar described to us a visit the teens took to a homeless shelter for Veterans and how it impacted his point of view on giving to others in need. He talked about how it felt to brighten their day by decorating for Christmas and handing out food and necessities. It was a good experience for all the youth.

Then the children all came together for a skit that demonstrated how most of us get requests for help and nonchalantly, and sometimes hurtfully, blow them off while very few of us reach down and give what we have, even we are in need of something ourselves. They give out of real love.

Jessica gave us her testimony from being at Full Truth Ministries. She talked about how she didn't know much about God when she came and only know a couple of people but now she is learning and growing in her walk with God and has extended her natural family to include the members of FTM.

All the Instructors came up for a word of thanks to the teens and visionaries as well as encouragement to continue on in their growth in the family of God. Sister Natasha, Sister Christina, Brother Joseph and Sister Leelan.

There was a closing poem by Ashley who is a member who was back for a break from school. It talked about what it might be like to be God who looks down on us here on earth and sees our lives and everything that goes on, good or bad. Sometimes He shakes his head in disgust, sometimes He smiles and applauds.

YOUTH SUNDAY was a great success and we look forward to seeing YOU there at our next one! Go
d bless!

Natasha Nichols - ages 3-7
Our class is created to meet this age levels needs. We teach the word of God in a fun and productive way so that the children will develop a love for Christ and the discipline for a controlled learning setting. We provide picture books and hands on experiences to developmentally meet the needs of this age level.

Christina Howards - ages 8-11
This class teaches with the students interests in mind. We teach strictly from the Bible and the lessons are very engaging for the students. The goal is to get children interested in the word of God and to take it a step further, to build on their personal relationship with Christ. We teach the foundations of knowing Christ as our Lord and Savior and how to live as an example of Christ in the midst of a crazy world.

Leelan Warren ages - 12-17
The teen class is very crucial to this department. At this stage, children are trying to find themselves and desiring to be independent. We teach them how to make the right choices as they develop into adulthood. Topics range from obedience to parents, sexual purity, peer pressure, submission, and much more. Our goal is to get teens excited about Christ and not  to look at church as an obligation that is due to their parents. We desire them to grow in their personal relationship with God and learn how to listen to the Holy Spirit.
